Details you choose to submit

Alpha Investors is responsible for the personal data it collects directly. Enquiry, application, waitlist, invited-place reservation and email-result journeys may collect your name, email address, stated interests and any context you choose to provide. Alpha uses those details to answer your request, reserve or deliver the access you requested, assess fit, deliver a requested resource or calculation, operate the service and—only where you separately opt in—send relevant updates.

Sending a calculator result to your email does not by itself subscribe you to marketing. Please do not submit sensitive information that is not needed for your request.

Submitted details are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the request, the relationship and applicable operational or legal requirements.

Microsoft Clarity analytics

Alpha uses Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the public website through behavioural metrics, heatmaps and session replay. This can include pages visited, clicks, scrolling, navigation, page structure, browser and device characteristics, approximate location and diagnostic information.

The purpose is to find confusing pages, broken journeys and conversion friction. Alpha sends named journey events and coarse, anonymous tags such as page type, campaign family and CTA placement. Alpha does not give Clarity names, email addresses, custom user IDs or calculator values. Forms and the calculator input and result areas are explicitly masked before recording data is uploaded.

Clarity loads automatically on public pages. Advertising storage remains disabled. You can limit or block cookies using your browser settings or privacy tools.

Clarity cookies and retention

Clarity may set _clck for up to one year to recognise a browser on this site and _clsk for one day to connect page views into a session.

Microsoft states that playback data is normally retained for 30 days. Click and heatmap data, and sessions that are labelled or favourited, may be retained for nine months.

Providers, transfers and your rights

Microsoft receives Clarity data and acts as a separate controller under its own terms and privacy statement. Its processing may involve international transfers. You can read the Microsoft Privacy Statement, Clarity cookie information and Clarity terms.

You may ask Alpha to access, correct or remove personal details you submitted, or restrict or object to processing where applicable. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority. Contact brendan@alphainvestors.io.
